Northern Perspective considers collaborations that suit its focus on northern public life and are transparent to readers. Partnership arrangements do not determine our editorial conclusions or guarantee independent coverage.

Possible collaborations

We may consider clearly defined projects such as a commissioned explanatory feature, a themed content collaboration or a relevant resource placement. Proposals should explain the subject, intended audience, proposed format and what support or payment is involved.

Partner placements

We accept relevant partner placements across the site when they are useful to readers and clearly distinguished from editorial articles. Placement wording and presentation must not imply endorsement by Northern Perspective. We do not accept material that disguises promotion as independent reporting.

Clear labelling and contact

Paid, sponsored or partner content is labelled at the point where it appears. Editorial staff retain control of editorial work, and commercial arrangements cannot require favourable conclusions. Send a proposal through the Contact page and select the partnership option; include the proposed placement or collaboration and its terms.
